The aim of the project was to undertake a community led audit of 10 communities across Co.Clare over a 12 month period. In partnership with each community we prepared bespoke plans to identify the needs of the community, particularly the needs of the vulnerable within that community, whose voice is sometimes not heard. The program included a range of training workshops, focus groups, mentoring, surveys and audits of businesses; community groups and residents; and sought to incorporate existing plans, such as the county development plan, into the end product. The project covered a wide range of community development themes under the core pillars of social, economic, cultural and environmental.
